Xơ Đăng (or Sedang) Ethnic Group (Dân Tộc Xơ Đăng). An ethnic minority of Vietnam people living in the northern part of Gia Lai and Kon Tum, as well as in Quảng Nam and Quảng Ngãi. Traditional occupations for Xơ Đăng men include hunting, metal work and basketry, while women engage in food gathering and cloth weaving. With a population of over 90,000, the Xơ Đăng are considered part of the Mon-Khmer ethno-linguistic group.
