In some remote areas, a lot of people don’t have clean water to use. They have to use the water from the river and it contains some substance that affects health. Few households are supplied with piped water and hygienic latrines. The problem is people can’t find any water source, or they don’t have a water filtration system. Most people use water from hand drug wells. Businesses and the government do not pay attention to water sources. There are many cases where businesses pour waste into rivers or streams nearby and contaminate them.

The businesses should have inadequate waste-treatment systems to filter the waste before pouring it into the river and the government should have new strict law to prevent the firm pour waste into water. Water pollution can destroy farming and kill animal around the source like fish and some aquatic life. Air pollution is another major problem in Vietnam. Air quality in Vietnam is lagging among the ten worst nations in the world.
