Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Our staff will meet you up at the airport with Fast-track service. Then your guide and driver will pick you up at Noi Bai International airport then transfer to Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel. Today we will venture out to explore Hanoi. First up we will drive to the Ho Chi Minh complex where we will spend time at Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, his former stilt-house, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda. Followings we visit the Temple of Literature, which originally built as a temple to Confucius.
After lunch (at your own account), we visit the Museum of Ethnology, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam's 54 Ethnic minority peoples and the infamous Hoa Loa Prison Museum. Hoa Loa is also known as the ‘’Hanoi Hilton’’ and was where former US presidential candidate John McCain was incarcerated for over 5 years. Later this afternoon, we enjoy a 1-hour cyclo tour of the French-inspired "old quarter". We will be free for shopping in the old quarter ranges from markets through to designer boutique stores to amazing contemporary art galleries. Then we sit down to enjoy a performance of the city’s famous Water Puppets.
Note: If time does not permit, we will skip one or two sights.

Day 2: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B, L, D)
Embarking on an unforgettable journey, we set out from Hanoi to Halong Bay, eagerly anticipating the wonders that awaited us. As the clock struck 11:30, our excitement peaked as we arrived at the mesmerizing Ha Long Bay. After 45 minutes of flight and 15 minutes for scenic Ha Long Bay, we will be landing at the Tuan Chau Marina and get on our car to Hon Gai Pier (20 minutes), then check in our cruise, enjoy the welcome drink, receive cruise briefing and safety instructions. Check in and begin cruise. Sail through beautiful Bai Tu Long Bay en route to Halong Bay (Halong Bay trip). Our Experiences Manager will assist you with boarding to start cruising in Bai Tu Long Bay. Check in to your cabin as we set sail from Vinashin dock to cruise among the many beautiful islets (scenes from the film ‘Indochine’ were filmed here). Bai Tu Long Bay has a wild beauty and the panoramas from the boat are unforgettable. An a la carte lunch will be served at our Royal Restaurant on the main deck. Savor delicious Vietnamese food while admiring the grace of the bay.
Visit Vung Vieng fishing village, the famous pearl-growing village, to view the fishing tanks of the local people. You have time to observe the process of feeding pearl as well as learning a little about the life of the local people. Proceed to Vung Vieng floating village to board bamboo boats so the locals can row you around their village and oyster pearl farming plots. Return to the boat by speedboat.
The cruise continues from the Vung Vieng fishing village to Cong Do (sleeping area), where you will enjoy the wonderful beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay at sunset, admire the striking islands and islets, relax, indulge yourself and savor the peaceful atmosphere which can only be found out here among the islands.
Choose from kayaking, just relaxing or taking afternoon tea and watching the sky color change as the sun sets. Attend our chef’s cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking (making spring rolls) in a truly stunning setting. Enjoy our a la carte 5-course menu for dinner on board as you experience the charm of Bai Tu Long Bay at night. Evening activities: enjoy our Movie Night, Board Games or our Massage and Spa services or even go squid fishing. Overnight on board.

Day 3: Ha Long Bay (B, L, D)
Embarking on a blissful day in Bai Tu Long Bay, I welcomed the morning with a serene Tai-chi/Vovinam session on the sundeck, basking in the beauty of the dawn. After a delightful breakfast in the restaurant, I set off on a Day Boat adventure to explore the bay's widest splendor. Kayaking through Thay Cave, a hidden marvel, revealed the secrets of Bai Tu Long Bay's vastness. Next, I visited the enchanting Cong Dam Area and Hon Xep Nature Park, a haven of hidden lagoons embraced by majestic limestone islands and wild beaches. Lunch on the day boat was a savory treat, preparing me for more delights to come.
Rejoining the main boat for the Halong Bay cruise, I embraced the art of Vietnamese cooking during the chef's demonstration, trying my hand at crafting spring rolls amid the breathtaking setting. As night descended, the charm of Bai Tu Long Bay unfolded during dinner on board. The evening offered an array of activities, from Movie Night and Board Games to rejuvenating Massage and Spa services or thrilling squid fishing. Overnight on board.

Day 4: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi – Fly to Da Nang - Hoi An (Brunch)
Greet the new day with the soothing sound of water against the boat, as the sun announces its presence on Bai Tu Long Bay. Savor cookies and tea before indulging in a refreshing tai chi session on the sundeck, accompanied by the rising sun. Explore the wonders of Hon Co Island and Co Cave, relishing the awe-inspiring views of Bai Tu Long Bay from above and the pristine white-sand beach of Hon Co Island. Take a leisurely swim in the crystal-clear waters and venture into the captivating cave.
After a delightful time, return to the cruise via speedboat, arrange your belongings, and check out. While cruising back to the mainland, enjoy a scrumptious brunch onboard. At the port, catch a flight at 12.30 to Noi Bai airport, followed by another flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, your family will be warmly escorted to Four Seasons Resort by your dedicated driver and guide.

Day 5: Hoi An - Farming & Fishing Eco Tour – Hoi An Walking Tour (B, L)
We have an early start this morning as we head off to our Farming & Fishing Life Eco Tour. Starting at Tra Que Village, we will get a personal insight into the local farming communities. We set about joining the farmers in preparing their land for sowing, helping to fertilize the garden using seaweed from the local river and watering it in using huge tin cans strapped to our backs. Following this, we will begin our leisurely cycling tour through the countryside witnessing local Vietnamese rural life first-hand. Late morning we will board our Hoi An Eco-tour boat for a river cruise. Here we will meet and witness local fishermen working their craft, before enjoying a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. We then transfer to a Vietnamese bamboo basket boat for a quick race and ride down a coconut palm-lined waterway. Lunch today is on board our boat, which is prepared using vegetables picked earlier at Tra Que Village.
After lunch, we will walk down to the downtown for our walking tour. We will start our walking tour around the ancient town to visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, Tan Ky old house, the Cantonese congregation, the silk street of Hoi An, the temples and pagodas of Chinese appearance. Then we are back to our hotel. Overnight in Four Seasons Resort.
Day 6: Hoi An - Marble mountain, Monkey mountain, Cham Museum, Han Market (B, L)
Pick up at our hotel, we will have the full day exploring this lively modern city in the Central of Vietnam. We first visit Marble Mountain. We then visit the impressive Cham Museum, one of the best collection of Cham Sculpture and Artworks. We then drive to Son Tra Peninsula (Monkey Mountain) and visit Linh Ung Pagoda with the biggest Buddha statue in Southeast Asia. Wandering around the pagoda and relax with a panorama view of the beach from the height. Back to the city center for lunch (at your own account), we will visit Han market, the main market in Danang City with hundreds of local specialties. The rest of the day will be free at My Khe beach. Tour ends at our hotel. Overnight in Four Seasons Resort
Day 7: Hoi An (B)
The day will be free for shopping, strolling in the Hoi An town, lazing on the beach, or whatever takes your fancy. We’ll spend the night in Four Seasons Resort.

Day 8: Hoi An – Da Nang – Fly to Hanoi (B)
Check out hotel and transfer to Da Nang Airport for your short flight to Hanoi. On arrival in Hanoi, you will transfer to Sofitel Legend Metropole hotel.
