You are welcome by Viet Vision Travel’s tour guide & driver. Your driver will transport you to Hanoi after departing from Halong International Cruise Port. Before visiting the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, where the former US presidential contender John McCain spent more than 5 years in prison, stop at the Temple of Literature, which was once constructed as a Temple of Confucius. Next, explore the enormous exhibit at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which is regarded as the greatest in the nation, to learn more about Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minorities.
We will board a cyclo for an hour-long tour of the French-inspired “Old Quarter” after lunch in the city’s center. Browse for great deals on practically anything while strolling through the Old Quarter’s winding lanes, from little shops selling souvenirs to galleries featuring modern art that sell paintings. Continue to Bat Trang Ceramic Village, a historic ceramic community 15 kilometers from eastern Hanoi. As soon as you arrive, go on a tour of the communal house, the 1920-built French antique structure, and the ancient home and studio of ceramic artist Tran Van Do.
