Vô Ngôn Thông (728-826). A Chinese Buddhist monk who came to Việt Nam from Guangzhou. He taught at Kiến Sơ Pagoda in Bắc Ninh Province, where he founded the second Zen school in Việt Nam.
This school lasted for 15 generations with a total of about 40 superior monks.
