There are seven ethnic minority groups living in Mai Chau including two big ethnic groups of this region, Whites and Black Thai. They reside in their traditional stilt houses (nha san), preserve a traditional weaving technique and popular dance “Xeo”, which leaves strong impression to tourists coming here.
