Ho Quy Cong (prince of the Ho family) and his lieutenant Tran Van Hai (17th century). These genies founded the village and taught hunting to its inhabitants. Oh the 13th and 14th days of the lunar month, all villagers take part in the sacred hunt. The heads of the game are reserved for the cult while the remainder is distributed to all of the people. One month before this event, a respectable family prepares offerings to the genies and hunting gear. People hunt in the neighboring hills. On the 15th day of the 3rd month, the sacrifice is given at the communal house (offerings of steamed chicken, roasted turtledove, square sticky rice cake (banh chung), rice flour rolls, and molasses cakes are made). The sacred hunting custom is no longer observed.
