Mark & Linda Thompson –
This tour is perfect if you want to see Vietnam’s main highlights without feeling like you’re on a cookie-cutter trip. The private junk cruise in Halong Bay was easily our favorite part - peaceful, elegant, and the seafood lunch was divine. The Vespa night tour in Saigon was such a cool way to end the journey. If we’re being honest, the schedule was a bit packed - a couple of longer travel days made it tiring for us (we’re in our 50s). But overall, the mix of culture, food, and local experiences was spot-on.

I loved how this tour combined local insight with comfort. The dinner in Hanoi was a perfect welcome - sophisticated but still full of Vietnamese soul. Our guide in Hue was amazing; you could tell he genuinely cared about sharing his city’s stories. The only thing I’d tweak would be the hotel in Hoi An - it was fine, but not quite on par with the others. Otherwise, every experience felt genuine, from laughing with farmers in the rice fields to cruising the Mekong Delta. You can feel the effort Viet Vision Travel puts into avoiding the typical tourist trail.

This 9-day journey was one of the most well-organized tours I’ve taken. Every stop felt meaningful - from the private Halong Bay cruise (no crowds, just stunning views) to the hilarious farming and fishing day in Hoi An, which was way more fun than I expected. The guides were top-notch and clearly proud of their country. My only small gripe is that I wished we had an extra day in Hue - it’s such a charming city with so much history that one afternoon just didn’t feel enough. Still, Viet Vision Travel absolutely delivered on authenticity and comfort.
