7:30 – 8:00 AM: Welcome on arrival by our guide & driver at Saigon Port and we then transfer to Ho Chi Minh City to kick off your city tour.
The very first attraction we pay a visit to is the War Remnant Museum, once known as the “Museum of American War crime”, has been displaying remnants of the American phase of the Vietnam War since 1975 – right after the war. It is also recognized to be one of 61 “museums for peace” by the United Nations. We will have a chance to deeply understand the cruelty of the war and the pains it left. It is a practical lesson about the Vietnamese heroic history where all tourists should come, see and think.
Continue our Ho Chi Minh City tour to Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral established by French colonists. The cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880. Following the French conquest of Cochinchina and Saigon, the Cathedral established a community and religious services for French colonialists. After that, move to the iconic sign of the city – Central Post Office which is a beautiful piece of art.
Feast on a delicious Vietnamese-style lunch at a good restaurant.
