1. Who Needs to Comply?
The new regulation applies to:
Foreign Nationals traveling for tourism, business, or other purposes.
Overseas Vietnamese entering the country using a VISA or Visa Exemption certificate.
(Note: This does not apply to Vietnamese passport holders or transit passengers who do not exit the terminal.)
2. How to Declare (Step-by-Step Guide)
We highly recommend completing this process 24 to 48 hours before your flight to ensure a seamless "Fast Track" experience upon arrival.
Step 1: Access the Portal Visit the official government website at: https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn/ or scan the official QR code provided at the check-in counters.
Step 2: Fill in Information Complete the digital form with your passport details, flight number, and planned accommodation in Vietnam.
Step 3: Save Your QR Code Once submitted successfully, the system will generate a unique Entry QR Code. Please download or take a screenshot of this code on your mobile device.
Step 4: Present Upon Arrival At the immigration counter in Tan Son Nhat Airport, simply present your QR code to the border police along with your passport for quick processing.
