Ray and I would like to say a big thank you for organising our recent trip to Vietnam. The itinerary was extremely well planned and included the extras we had requested. The days were certainly full which is how we like it. The sights were all well worth visiting, just wish we could have stayed a day or three longer and visited Dalat, but there is always a next time – the red wine produced there was great!
The extras you included were much appreciated – the rest time at the hotel La Rosa before and after our train trip to Sapa gave us time to shower, change and eat. The change of hotel in Hanoi to the Maison D’ Hanoi Boutique was fantastic. We loved the quirkiness of the long narrow building, it’s location, and the friendly staff. In fact all the accommodation was great, though as we told you the hotel in Da Nang was in a state of restoration – but the location made up for it. The home stay in the Mekong delta was a great experience.
All our guides were exceptional. All very knowledgable, helpful, and courteous. We felt safe with all our drivers and their vehicles were very comfortable.The Red Bridge cooking class was exceptional and their venue superb. We loved the food through out the country and our guides encouraged us to try a number of local delicacies.
People ask us what the highlight of the trip was but we can not pin point just one thing as the whole trip was magic, including the snow on the mountains in Sapa!
It was great to meet you and many thanks for your kind gift. Thank you so very much for organising our wonderful holiday where absolutely nothing went wrong. Oh by the way we have 2500 photos to sort through! Hope the baby is well as are you and your husband and other child.
