What is the best time to visit Hue?
at 11:17 am
The coastal area and delta of Vietnam has tropical climate with 2 distinct seasons. The dry season starts from March and ends in August with high temperature up to 40*C. The rain season runs from August to January with cooler temperature (around 19*C). The temperature is cooler in some mountainous and hilly areas.
The best time for Hue travel is between March to August especially from March to April when the temperature and weather are comfortable. It is quite popular to meet fog and rainy weather in Hue even when some nearby province like Danang is sunny in this time.

I’m travel on my own package. Private cars are not included in my plan. But can I ask you a question that should I go to Vinh Moc tunnel from Hue?
at 10:37 am
o, you should not. The price for private car is quite expensive around 65 $ and the distance from Hue to Vinh Moc is very far you have to suffer 12 to 13 hours just for 30 minutes visit Vinh Moc tunnel. It is not recommended. However, the distance from Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh Moc tunnel is much more nearer. You should take the trip to Vinh Moc Tunnel from Ho Chi Minh City if you are really interested in DMZ.

We have 2 week trips in Vietnam next month and we spend 1 for highlights in Vietnam center. We plan to visit Hoi An after trip in Hue. We are wondering should we get Hoi An from Hue by train or taxi?
at 9:24 am
It depends. Both are good choice but there are some different. The train will bring you some sceneries of the coast while the cars go inland and higher up. The car may be better choice when you can stop wherever but it is more expensive.
