Day 1: Arrival Ho Chi Minh city (D)
Upon Ho chi minh city arrival, meet & greet by tour guide then transfer to hotel for check in and dinner.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh city tour (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, we meet tour guide and depart for firstly visit to the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. After that we visit War Remnant Museum, where we can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting about the second Indochina war. We also stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post office to get good shots for our memory of the big, modern city of Vietnam.

Our delicious lunch will be served at a nice restaurant in the central city.
After lunch time; we continue our city tour with visits to Cho Lon market & then to Ben Thanh market- here we can experience our Vietnamese Southern daily life. Dinner & overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh city – Mekong Delta (B, L, D)
Today we visit Cai Be colourful floating market and island with cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables; stopping at local workshops to see. We also visit the local workshops where we can see how rice paste, coconut candy and pop-rice, pop-corn is made. The rowing boat will take us deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful time. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an opportunity to make contacts with them and see how they catch fish… Lunch will be served at a local house. After lunch, we can walk around and then we will enjoy some kinds of fruits when listening to the traditional music. One more thing to do in this trip is biking! It will be so amazing to bike on village paths to see the local farms, houses, real life and the ancestral ways to pick up fruits in Mekong Delta.. The cruise will end at Vinh Long city where we take our own vehicle back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 4: Half day tour at Cu Chi tunnel – Fly to Hue city (B, L, D)
Have breakfast then check out hotel, we depart to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels (70 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City), an amazing complex of underground tunnels used during the Vietnam War. There are more than 200 km of tunnels, comprising a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels. We have the chance to crawl through this amazing system of tunnels. For a more “thrilling” experience, we can even test our shooting skills on original AK47s and other guns from past war times (subject to a surcharge).

After lunch, we transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport to take a short domestic flight to Hue city.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in and dinner.

Day 5: Hue – DMZ tour (B, L, D)
Today, we will transfer to demilitarized zone along National way 1A, visit the Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River, where use to be the Seventeenth Parallel – the border between North and South of Viet Nam during the war (DMZ) and Vinh Moc Tunnel.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant, we then keep on following the Highway No 9, visit Khe Sanh and Suspension Bridge of Dakrong.

Day 6: Hue – Hoi An ancient town – Half day tour (B, L, D)
This morning, we visit the imperial city including Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, Forbidden Purple City. After lunch, we transfer to Hoi An city which is on the way back to Da Nang city (120km; apprx 3hrs drive with stopover). On the way, we will stop to visit Marble Mountain and Cham Museum.
We also spend this afternoon for a walking tour around this enchanting port town. Follow the narrow lanes lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French and European architectures and visit its numerous places of interest: the 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, the local fish market… Around the town we can see a numerous art galleries and tailor shops, get some made-to-order clothes if you like.

Day 7: Hoi An – Danang – Fly to Hanoi – Half day tour at Bat Trang village (B, L, D)
We take the morning flight to Hanoi this morning and visit Bat Trang Ceramic village which is on the left bank of Hong river and about 15 km from Hanoi in East (in Gia Lam District, Hanoi). This is the most famous and long-standing pottery village in Vietnam. Up to present, Bat Trang Pottery Village has still been operating and developing ceaselessly.

Day 8: Full day city tour with puppet show (B, L, D)
Today we visit Ho Chi Minh Complex with Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and One pillar pagoda. Keep going to see the Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam’s first university dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education. Lunch will be at a fine local restaurant in Hanoi.

In the afternoon, we will visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam; Museum of Ethnology, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority people. Following by that we will wander around the city by car to see the real life of Hanoian as well as the difference parts the city.

After that; we get back to city center where we take one-hour cyclo around the Old Quarter, known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Before we go back to hotel, we will have chance to enjoy the unique Water Puppet show to hear to know Vietnamese traditional instruments and singing from the live musicians who play throughout the show.

Day 9: Hanoi – Halong Bay(Overnight on cruise) (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, we depart for the journey passing the lust green field in the Red River delta to the coast and the wonderful Ha Long bay (about 160km, 3.5h to drive) which named as the ascending dragon. We arrive at the Halong Bay Wharf at around lunch time, we transfer from our vehicle to our deluxe junk, join our fantastic seafood lunch, and cruise around this tranquil bay, marvel at 3000 limestone peaks that emerge from the emerald water. We have opportunity to visit spectacular Amazing cave crammed with stalactites and stalagmites; and if the weather permits we will swim from our boat.
Dinner on board and enjoy a magical night on junk cruise.

Day 10: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L, D)
Our breakfast at 7h00, we then prepare to continue on kayaking to explore the Bay. We paddle from Luon Cave toward islets in shape of Man’s head, Tortoise. We will be back to our boat for lunch at around 10h00. Then, we pack our luggage and take out of our cabin (for crew members prepare rooms for coming passengers). Our lunch today will be served sooner than usual as we will return to the main harbor at around midday and take our vehicle back to Hanoi. Dinner & overnight in Hanoi.

Day 11: Hanoi – Departure (B)
Today our awaiting vehicle will transfer us back to the airport for our flight to home. Trip ends.
