Arrived home safely on Saturday night to a freezing cold London. The only hiccup of the whole tour was that our flight from HCMC to London was delayed by 10 hours. However Vietnam Airlines treated us very
well putting us up in a hotel overnight and providing meals, so no complaints.

Wanted to thank you for organising a wonderful trip to Vietnam and Cambodia.

We all had a great time, thoroughly enjoying the variety and beauty of the different places we visited.
Our tour guides and drivers were very good and your choice of hotels for us was spot on. Staying in comfortable hotels close to the centre of towns and cities was great - many of the sites were virtually on our doorstep.

Our guides and drivers were all informative and helpful, and it's lovely to arrive in a new place after a flight or train journey and to be met!

We loved the food, John has bought a Vietnamese recipe book and we are intending to cook a Vietnamese
meal for friends when we'll probably bore them with the many hundreds of photos that we took.

All in all a brilliant and memorable experience.

Thank you for your email. We got back to school at about 1am this morning.

We all had a superb time. The tour guide and driver were both excellent; the hotel was of a decent standard and certainly suitable for a school trip; it was also in an ideal location for exploring; the different restaurants we visited for food were also very good. We felt we had a real Vietnamese culinary experience.

I loved Saigon and we saw many wonderful sights and had some great experiences. It also helped the pupils in their understanding of Vietnamese history.

I certainly intend to offer another trip to Vietnam in Spring 2014 with a different set of pupils. I will be in contact in the Autumn to get a quote from you.

Please pass on my thanks to the guide and driver. I did thank them at the airport at departure but do let them know we thought they did a fantastic job. Thank you also for orchestrating everything. I'm just sorting through the photos at the moment but these are the best 3 of the group, although not that great.

Thank you for your kind co-ordination. The Vietnam trip was very enjoyable for the whole family.
Nha Trang was especially good in terms of the food variety (lots of great street food & local delicacies) and location of hotel. Tao was always prompt/on time for transfers between hotel/airport and was found to be informative and accommodating. We enjoyed having the days to ourselves to explore and enjoy.
HCM was also good, however we found there was a minor mix-up with the room booking on 13th Feb. The 2 double rooms & 1 single, written as booked in itinerary, was listed in hotel as "1 double, 1 twin & 1 single". This was however rectified easily with reception before check-in on that day, so was managed. Transport between locations for tourist sites, hotel & airport were also appreciated.

To Thuy - Viet Vision Travel,

Michelle and I are now back home and re-adjusting to our usual workaday life. However our thoughts are constantly returning to Vietnam and the wonderful time we had there over the last three weeks.
Right the way through, things went smoothly and as per the plan. This was a great relief and enabled us to really relax. I do not need to tell you that your country is beautiful, the food wonderful and the people friendly - these all of course added to the success of our trip. In addition, we found all of the hotels very comfortable and well-located, and the transport arrangements were always excellent.
Our guides added much to the trip and Hiep in Sapa and Thien in Hanoi were especially friendly and helpful - in fact they were more than guides and effectively became friends. Please pass our thanks and gratitude onto them.
Michelle would like to add extra thanks for the efforts that everyone made to accommodate for her vegetarian diet - restaurants were always alerted beforehand and excellent ingredients and meals were offered her. This was a great relief and once again added to the holiday experience.
We would love to come back before too long to explore some other areas and will certainly be encouraging our friends to go to Vietnam and to check out Viet Vision. Just wanted to say thankyou for all your logistics and organising for our trip to Vietnam.

We where most impressed with your guides who where all very friendly and clearly proud of their country and history. In particular Mr Tam in Saigon and Mr Tiep in Hanoi.

The Grand hotel in Saigon was very good, Hotel Barcelona in Nha Trang was very average but we only had one night there. Easy Riders where excellent and our guide was brilliant. He managed to get a automatic bike for Karen which made her very comfortable. Accommodation on that part of the trip was very local but clean with air con in all the rooms so we where fine. If we did it again I would suggest taking a silk sleeping cover.

Loved Hoi An and in hind site would have had our beach days their instead of in Cat Ba island. The Van Loi hotel was fine. The Red Bridge Cooking class was excellent (although I need to do a few recipes now I’m home, perhaps we will get Tony around to experiment on).

As you are aware we did not enjoy the Boutique 1 hotel in Hanoi, but you fixed that for our return, thankyou (the intercontinental was very nice and a good way to end our trip) .

Our trip to Halong Bay was stunning, great part of the world. Enjoyed Catba island and the Hotel was very nice but as mentioned If we did it again I think more time in Hoi An would be better.

Looks like we are coming back to Vietnam in March for a work trip with BP so will be able to show a few more New Zealanders the joys of Vietnam.

We are also considering taking a trip to Cambodia and Laos with our 3 children in the next 18 months.

Time flies! Its already one week since we returned from the 5-day trip organised by Viet Vision. I write now for two reasons: First, to apologise for the mixed up of arrival time at the Hanoi International Airport. I gave the departure time from Singapore as the arrival time in Hanoi, thus inconveniencing your guide, Anh and driver, Thuyen. I thank you for their patience with us. (I discovered my mistake after I came home).

Secondly, I would like to say that we had a wonderful time in Hanoi city and the Halong Bay. Your guide was very knowledgeable and could relate the history and culture very well. He was very friendly and helpful in many ways. He could chat with us very comfortably. The driver was rather quiet but was very focussed and put safety of the passengers in his heart. The meals were great. The city tour, puppet show and cyclo trip were very enlightening. The overight Halong Bay trip was wonderful. Hotel was comfortable and clean except for the transparent curtains in the toilet/bathroom. Overall, it was a very good trip. Will be recommending to my friends.

Thank you for all your help in organising our trip. We found you very helpful and efficient ad what we saw was what we got which was very refreshing.

The highlights for me were the Mekong, Angkor Wat, HOi An, Phu Quoc island and learning so much about both countries, the wars and the culture. I did love the Sa pa experience and Halong Bay but unfortunately were plagued with bad weather, but nothing that we did not expect with it being your winter, as you can imagine it would have been ten times worse in the UK where I am from. I would like to return there sometime in the summer.
Phu Quoc was a great final destination, we loved it!!
All the other hotels were very good, my favourites being the Lavender and Steing Siem Reap. I loved our hotel in Phu Quoc also. I would like to return to the island possibly next year, and would like to stay in the Chen Sea resort, so hope to be able to find a fair rate with you.
We will be recommending your company to our friends and I intend to recommend you to the Lonely PLanet Guide.

Many thanks for arranging this trip for our family - we enjoy it so much specially the kids, unfortunately we can't see any rice field in tam coc as we seen in the picture as it's not in harvest time... ;-)

I like weather in Hanoi but more in Tam Coc most in Halong City, seems like less polluted and colder weather.
Your guide is very helpful and accommodate to our needs as well - the driver a bit quiet but courtesy (maybe because he can't speak English as we can't speak your language as well)

Feel like want to come back again sometime in the future ;-) -
However the only thing i don't like is 3 hours flight from Singapore (i didn't enjoy flight at all) - i wish Hanoi can be reached by train/car or boat so i don't have to take air flight ;-)

Thank you for just a fabulous job of arranging our itinerary for my family to Viet Nam and Cambodia. I have already recommended you to our Seattle friends, Dick Footh and Millie (see email below).

You did just an outstanding job of arranging the perfect itinerary. It was well balanced, as we enjoyed enough free time and activities for our sons which included swimming, snorkeling and kayaking in Halong Harbor outside of Hanoi, a trip highlight. The junk boat was a real treat; we enjoyed being aboard the Calypso. The caves of Halong Harbor were exceptional. Next time, we would like a 2-day cruise.

The trip to Angkor Wat, Cambodia was another highlight as the 900-year old temple complex was absolutely fascinating. The tuk-tuk’s to the market downtown was a real adventure and the fact that all transactions in Cambodia are traded in U.S. dollars was very helpful.

All the tour guides were great, especially Wuti in Angkor Wat who was just exceptional in his knowledge and his command of the English language. We especially appreciated you arranging our airport pickup at the Hanoi airport on our return from Cambodia and also our airport transfer from the hotel in Hanoi. In summary, you could not have done a better job! We loved every minute. Just one comment: I would recommend a different hotel in Nha Trang as it wasn’t quite up to standards.

I just want to tell you how much we enjoyed our holiday. We all had the most wonderful time. I think I am in love with Hanoi. Cyclo rides in peak hour traffic are quite an adrenaline rush.

Our guides were all knowledgeable and helpful, they were also great company and contributed to our enjoyment immensely. Tu has such a great sense of humour and we shared a lot of laughs. It was hard to say good-bye to him.

Susan in Sapa was a great source of local knowledge and very helpful when I realised I would not be able to hike to the homestay. I am so grateful that she organised for the bus to take me as we all enjoyed the experience so much (as well as the rice wine). We were very lucky as the weather in Sapa was great and clear skys meant we have some excellent photos. I was surprised at how comfortable the train was.

Halong Bay is so beautiful and with only six other people on board we were very spoilt indeed.
Hue was very interesting and I would like to see it again when the weather is better as there were so many things to see and I would have liked to linger, but in the end we just wanted to get somewhere dry. Hai, our guide was very knowledgeable and looked after us very well as he sorted out the small mix-up at the hotel. He did look shocked when we said we had a great meal down in the markets. I’m not sure why.

Hoi An was lovely and we all enjoyed it greatly. We didn’t get clothes made as we were too busy sightseeing although Liz did get some shoes made. The cooking school was excellent , very entertaining and professional. I haven’t tried any of the recipes at home yet although I do make a good pho bo as we have all become quite addicted.

The Cu Chi Tunnels were a tribute to man’s ingenuity in dire straits but it was also a terrible reminder of the horrors and tragedy of war. I was constantly amazed at the determination of the Vietnamese people to rise above the past and look to the future. Impressive.

We all loved the Cao Dai temple. Very beautiful indeed.
The lunch we had there was disappointing and we would rather have had lunch at one of the roadside stalls. I heard other diners say the same thing. Up until this all the meals were fantastic so we can’t complain.

Saigon is big and impressive but for me it doesn’t have the charm of Hanoi but we did find some interesting places to eat and tried some unusual dishes like sparrow and dog, which I have to say we all enjoyed immensely. We can’t thank Moi enough for taking us. We decided against the dinner cruise as the food was rather western influence and we wanted to try a restaurant we had found instead.

The Mekong Delta was wonderful and I would have liked to stay another day.

I have travelled in Europe, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Thailand and India and loved them all, but Vietnam has been outstanding in its cleanliness, safety, and the kindness, helpfulness, warmth and humour of the people.

I want to thank you again on behalf of Liz and Robert Boekholt and Lee Gerchow and myself for organising such a wonderful trip. We are hoping to return next Christmas with Lee’s parents and will contact you as soon as we know for sure.

We just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic time in Cambodia and Vietnam on the itinerary that you prepared for us. The guides were really great, punctual, friendly, very knowledgeable (particularly Vanna in Siem Reap) and very considerate (especially Setavi in Phnom Penh and Lok in Hanoi) of us and our needs especially as we were travelling with little ones.

The choices of hotels and sights to see were great and I really appreciate the flexibility that there was in the itinerary right up to the last minute - it all worked out really well. It was good to have our own dedicated vehicle so we could bring whatever we needed for the day with us and not worry about it as the driver looked after it and the cool water and towels were very welcome after a hot and sweaty walk around temples and other sights.

We were particularly impressed with the high quality of Paradise Cruises and the hotels that we chose (252 in Phnom Penh and Paradise in Hanoi) were very good and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to others for future use.

Once again, thank you very much for creating a memorable and hassle free holiday for us. It is the first time we have used a travel agent and had so much organised for us and it will be a difficult habit to break now! I have already passed your details on to several other families in Brunei who are looking to go on similar trips.

We just returned from our long trip 10 days ago and 3 days later had to fly to Northern California for 3 days to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday. Our trip was absolutely phenomenal but I'm still exhausted and my time clock hasn't yet adjusted. Although we didn't have any jet lag flying to Hong Kong, etc., returning to the U.S. has been really tough.

Anyway, I want to sincerely thank you for all the information you provided me and for everything you did on our behalf. The Golden Palace was centrally located, our room in the new wing was fine and the staff was really courteous and helpful. Saigon is AMAZING!! There is so much energy and excitement and we couldn't believe all the motorscooters, with up to 5 people on each.

The Golden Sands Resort was fabulous and we LOVED Hoi An. Our room was exquisite and the pool and beach were as beautiful as any we've ever been to. All the people of Vietnam were so nice to us and of the countries we visited (China, VN, Cambodia and Thailand), Vietnam was my definite favorite. Next time I hope we can get to Hanoi also.

We really appreciate your quick and efficient response to our emergency call the night we left. Although we had spoken with a few people who had visited Vietnam (vietnam tours), no one ever told us we needed a Visa and if you wouldn't have sent the email regarding our tourist visa to Cathay Pacific, they wouldn't have let us get on the plane in Hong Kong. It was scary though, because when we arrived in H.K., we went to the Cathay counter and they checked our reservation, etc., and said they didn't have an email regarding the visa and that we would have to go to the counselate in H.K. and postpone our flight to Saigon until the next day. Luckily, you also sent a copy of your email to my husband and he used their computer and opened it for them and they printed it out - whew!!

We all had a good time. The guide, Mr. Co and the driver, Mr Chao looked after us very well. It was a pity that our time in Saigon was very short owing to the heavy traffic and long drive to and from the port. However, we were touched by some of the sights that we saw, especially, the military museum. We hope that we get the opportunity to visit Vietnam again in the future.

Now we are at the Danang Airport waiting for our flight.

We continued our stay at Palm Garden.Yes I thought the hotel was very good and they really did a great job considering that the typhoon was so strong! I believe the center of it came ashore very close to us. We were lucky that we were able to stay in our room. The guests with rooms closer to the beach were moved to the meeting room and that did not look pleasant at all. I was surprised that the hotel kept electricity and Internet mostly, and that they had the full breakfast this morning.

Yes Mr Anh kept in contact and coordinated with us nicely.
