Vietnam Provinces
Think of Vietnam is a country relatively a small country geographically, currently there are sixty four provinces existing from north down to the south, consist five municipalities existing at the high level such as Hanoi, Hai Phong, Danang, Ho Chi Minh and Can Tho city, those five Vietnam provinces will act as a Vietnam travel guide of provinces to the travelers.
The largest city in Vietnam is Ho Chi Minh which is the most populous city approximately 7 million people is living there as well as the top level administrative unit. Among others Vietnam provinces is Thanh Hoa is the most crowd population of more three and a half million people, the mountainous Vietnam province of Lai Chau is the least populous. The largest province in terms of land area in Vietnam is Nghe An covering an area of 16,487 Sq Kms while Bac Ninh is the smallest with 804 sq Kms of area. Every single province has its own administration system with full functioning departments; all live and works following Vietnam constitution.
Entire country provinces are split into eight difference regions from northern down to the south, in order more convenience of administrative system work. North West of Vietnam local dialect sound as Tay Bac consisted following provinces, Hoa Binh, Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Ha Gaing, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho province. Forwarding to east included Cao Bang, Bac Can, Bac Giang, Lang Son, Quang Ninh and few others province in center of red river delta. Northern of Vietnam mainly share border with Laos and China. Central land of Vietnam is consider those province from Thanh Hoa down to Ninh Thuan and southern from there down to Phu Quoc island next to Thai Land Bay those province on the main land border share with Laos and Cambodia and on the sea area share with Cambodia and Thai Land
