Dak Nong province was split off from former Dak Lak province. It shares border with Dak Lak province on the north, Lam Dong on the east and southeast, Binh Phuoc province and Cambodia on the west.
Dak Nong Province is located in the southwest of Central region with the average height of 500m above sea level. Terrain is relatively flat, a large plateau with pastures stretching to the east. Lower terrain to the west, leaning Cambodia division, and the south is the domain of many low-lying lakes. There are major river systems: Ba river, Serepok (the branch of Krong Bong, Krong Pak, Krong Ana, Krong No...) and some other small rivers, many high waterfall, large hydropower.
The climate is relatively temperate regions, the annual temperature is 24 ° C, the hottest and coldest average difference of only 5 º C.
Dak Nong is suitable for visitors who love the majestic waterfall landscape, camp-fire night, the sound of gongs and the taste of the wine. Serepok River created many beautiful waterfalls, as benevolent as violent; Gia Long waterfall as a woman sleeping in wild and romantic and Dray Nur waterfall as a huge wall. There are also many other majestic waterfalls, including Dieu Thanh waterfall, Ba Tang and Dray Sap waterfall known as Smoky waterfall.

FEATURES: Virgin Fall is one of the beautiful places that attract a lot of tourist. Before flowing into Serepok rolling, Krong No River must also overcome the jagged rocks, with many shapes. However, the last obstacle has created an attractive natural landscape and has very poetic name - Virgin Fall. Legend said that the name of the fall is originated from a very sad story: A young girl was in trouble with love, so she came to the waterfall and decided to send her body into white silver water to forget the suffering. And in order to show compassion for the poor girl, people named for this waterfall is “Virgin”
Following the bump rocky roads, visitors can walk along the waterfall to admire the amazing beauty of the waterfall. When visitors need to take a rest, they can rest comfortably gathered under a thatched roof hut in a landscape in harmony with nature. If travelers want to keep mountains scenery images or the beauty of waterfall at night, there is a small apartment house bringing the appearance of Tay Nguyen ethnic minorities.
Ba Tang waterfall
Location: District of Dak Nong, about 8km from Dak Nong to Gia Nghia town along Highway 14
Features: Ba Tang waterfall has many old trees and wide flat ground, very ideally place for camping to enjoy relaxing while visiting these places. People called it Ba Tang waterfall because the water flowing through three- floors in the stream bottom. This three-floor waterfall is located in a sequence length of about 40 meters. The first floor is not very high, water from the rock falls from a height of more than 1.5 m. The second floor is about 20km from the first floor.
On the second floor, stream and spring water look clear and blue in the adjacent rocks, and from about 2 meters high, the water swept down. The third floor is a largest mining and exploitation of the waterfall. The main waterfall is higher than 20m, a virtual flow between day and night and fills on both sides of the stream. Here the stream is quite broad; many tall trees along the banks, so visitors can sit and rest for sightseeing scenic waters flowing down and listening to the sound of water. From the ground, we can see water steam flying around like a fog covered.
