An Giang province located upper reaches of the Mekong Delta region. The geography are dominated by branches of Hau Gaing and Tien Giang river. The northwest share 104 km border with Campuchia the southwest closes to Kien Giàng province 69 km , the south shares border with Can Tho city 44 and 107 km far from Dong Thap province on the east. With the exception of the west, most of An Giang is topography is fairly flat, and there are many canals and small rivers run cross. This terrain has led to An Giang being a significant agricultural centre, producing significant quantities of rice. The Cam Mountains, also known as the Thất Sơn range or the "Seven Mountains", are located in the western Tịnh Biên District. Followers of the Bửu Sơn Kỳ Hương tradition, founded in An Giang in 1849, refer to these mountains as Bửu Sơn, "Precious Mountains".

Location: Linh Son pagoda belongs to Vong The commune, Thoai Son district.
Features: It is a part of famous cultural Oc Eo relic, 1.5 km far from OC Eo.
The pagoda situated in the highland region with a lot of shady ancient trees. Inside, there are two steles and four-arm Buddha statue. These are the valuable architectural works that existed over than two thousand year ago. According to archaeologists, the ancient characters that engraving in the two steles can be the ancient language of Phu Nam. Until now, although the two steles still remain, the ancient characters has been faded. The four-arm Buddha statue was found in 1913 in the region near Ba The market, it is very suitable when people put it in the two steles. Since then, people set up this pagoda and named it Linh Son, the local villagers called it four-arm Buddha Pagoda.
According to the archaeologists’ point of view, maybe this pagoda region has ever been the central of Oc Eo culture, that was known as the city with the radiant cultural development attached with the unique cultural, high valuable architectures that still hidden a lot of mystery deeped in the ground.

Features: Oc Eo citadel has ever been the trading port that was sinked in the ground and was founded when the local villagers dig the Xang Ba The Channel.

This is the famous place that is known as by not only dosmestic citizents but also the international visitors: it was the large site ancient combined with the material traces of Phu Nam kingdom, a strong developed country in the Southeast Asian that existed for over two thousand years. Besides the region that was known as “Oc Eo city” with an area of 4.500 ha, there are some lands in the south western such as: Dong Thap Muoi, Chau Doc, Kien Giang…that still remains a lot of mystery for the archeology. Nowadays, Oc Eo relic attracts not only the archeologists, collectors but also a lot of visitors all over the world coming here for sighseeing the ancient objects, the traces that was found in order to learn more about the radiant developing period of An Giang province in the past in particular and The Mekong Delta generally.
