Ninh Chu Beach
Ninh Chu Beach is 6 kilometers east of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City. Being one of the nine most beautiful beaches in Vietnam, it is more than 10 kilometers in length, with an even and flat terrain and in the shape of a nice crescent. The atmosphere here is refreshing, with limpid water and the waves crashed onto the shore all the year round. Around the beach, there are evergreen forests, fragrant vast rice-fields, Nai fish pond, Da Chong Mountain, Tan An Mountain, with large rocks of all sizes pilling up, which all create a harmonious nature.
Ca Na Beach
It is 30km south of Phan Rang on National Highway 1A; the Ca Na beach is called "the sleeping princess" as it retains the wild. The weather is sunny and warm here all the year round. You can swim in the crystal - clear water which is about 3 degrees saltier than those of other seas. Also, you can climb the mountain, see the sights, and visit special cultural works of the Cham ethnic minority and traditional craft villages in Ninh Phuoc District, take a boat to Cau Island, go to Vinh Hao Spa etc.
Po Klong Garai Tower
Po Klong Garai Tower is situated on the Trau hill in Do Vinh ward, 9 kilometers north-west of Phan Rang. It was erected from the late 13th century to the early 14th century (during the reign of the Champa monarch Jaya Simhavar man III, also called King Che Man by the Vietnamese) in remembrance of PoKlong Garai Empreror (1125 - 1205). Poklong Garai is a complex comprising of three towers: main tower (205m high), the fire tower (9.31m high) and entrance tower (856m high). Given its pinnacle of art and architecture, these towers were rated by the Ministry of Culture as a national architectural heritage in 1979.
Hoa Lai Tower
It is 15 kilometers north of Phan Rang - Thap Cham on national highway 1A, in Ba Thap Village, Ninh Hai district. Built in the late 13th century and the early 14th century, the works make up of three towers: Central tower, North tower and South tower. Here is an attractive destination for those who want to study on history of Cham ethnicity. The tower of Hoa Lai was ranked by the Ministry of Culture a national architectural heritage in 2001.
Sa Kai Waterfall
Sakai is about 55km north-west of Phan Rang. It adjoins the Ngoan Muc pass and Da Nhim hydropower station. Natural scenery and cascading waterfalls make this area become an ideal resort of the province. Here, visitors will see rainbow reflecting on huge rocks as brightly as diamonds flash. They also enjoy relaxed and serene minutes in the immense sky and the majestic Truong Son range...
Vinh Hy Bay
Located in Vinh Hai Village, Ninh Hai District, Vinh Hy bay is 42 kilometers north east of Phan Rang - Thap Cham. It still retains the wild granted by the nature. It is surrounded by white sand beaches, towering rocky mountain ranges, and brooks murmuring down through immense green forests. Here, visitors can bathe in the sea, go fishing, enjoy a fresh air, discover caves, take a boat around the bay, and go mountaineering and camping etc.
FESTIVAL
Kate Festival
Kate festival is the biggest in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan Provinces, where many Cham people live, takes place at Poklong Garai Tower, Po Rome Tower, and Po Nagar Tower on the 1st of the 7th month according to the Cham calendar. The event is held in memory of national heroes, King Poklong and King Porome of the Champa kingdom. People from the surrounding areas gather at the towers to attend the ceremony. Excerpts from Taoist books are read, prayers are spoken followed by folk songs. It was end of October to early November.
Ramadan Festival
The biggest festival of the Cham Muslim community. During the festival, all the cultural quintessence is clearly demonstrated and orientates human beings towards the genuine, the good and the beauty. Time: The ninth month of the year in the Muslim calendar.
Char Bun Festival
The event is intended to express Cham people's gratitude towards Po Inu - NuGar Goddess for blessing them with good health and prosperity and towards the Earth Genie for bumper crops. Time: 02 days, after the fifteen day of the ninth month of the year in the Muslim calendar.
Yon Yang Festival
The event is aimed to get rid of worst happenings during the previous year and to be prepared for welcoming good things for the New Year. Time: April according to Cham calendar.
