Day 1: Arrival Phnom Penh
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to hotel for check in and relax. We spend the full afternoon to visit Royal Palace, which visits to the silver pagoda with their compound afterwards we continue to visit National Museum as well as to learn more about the pre-Angkor period, Angkor period and Post Angkor. Overnight in Phnom Penh
Day 2: Phnom Penh Capital (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Udong, Udong used to be the old capital of Cambodia, at there will enjoy a nice view from the hilltop over rice field and villages. Afternoon, we drive 16km south-west of Phnom Penh to visit Cheong Ek known as killing field during the Khmer Rouge regime then we return to Phnom Penh for visiting Toul Sleng Museum which is former high school after Khmer Rouge came to power and then they turn it into prison that most of people now called Genocide Museum or S21. Then continue to visit Russian Market and Central market. Tonight we will enjoy boat cruise along the Mekong River over view of Royal Palace. Overnight in Phnom Penh
Day 3: Phnom Penh Capital (B)
In the morning, we will first see the Independence Monument. Erected in 1958 to commemorate the end of the French protectorate (in 1953), the architect took inspiration from the central tower of Angkor Wat to built it. Today, it mostly serves as a monument to Cambodia’s war dead. We will make a stop at the near Wat Lank Ka, a beautiful pagoda restored in Khmer style further to the Khmer Rouge’s destruction, and populated with friendly monks. From the Independence Monument, a short walk will bring us to the Prayuvong Buddha factory. We will walk around the various workshops and watch the artisans at work.
Then, we will take a break at the Java Café and Gallery, a nice place in a modern stylish ambiance with an open-air balcony and changing art and photo exhibitions. Afterwards, we will continue northeast of the Independence Monument heading towards the Royal Palace, to the Cambodia-Vietnam Soldiers Monument, set in a nice park. Then, we will walk along the Tonle Sap River on the beautiful Sisowath Quay. We will stop at Wat Ounalom, Phnom Penh’s most important Wat In the late afternoon; we will explore the Central Market (Psar Thmei). Overnight in Phnom Penh
Day 4: Phnom Penh – Departure (B)
Today we will free at leisure to explore Phnom Penh or relax at hotel before transfer to airport for flight out of Cambodia.
