This tour takes us from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) within 9 days. The trip covers most of the main attractions in Vietnam including three world heritages site in Vietnam. It covers from the stately Hanoi, the magnificent Halong Bay, the former capital city of Hue, the charming Hoi An ancient town, the bustle & hustle Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), the water way of Mekong Delta and the legendary Cu Chi Tunnel.

Day 1 Arrive Hanoi (D)
Transfer via: International Flight on your own arrangement
Accommodations: Intercontinental Hotel Hanoi
Upon your arrival at the Noi Bai (Hanoi) airport, our local guide will meet us and escort us to our hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax and recover from jetlag. Tonight we have dinner at one of the finest restaurant in Hanoi.

Day 2 Hanoi (B, L)
Accommodations: Intercontinental West Lake Hotel
Sites visited: Ho Chi Minh Complex, Ba Dinh square, Temple of Literature, Museum of Ethnology, Cyclo in Hanoi old quarter, Water puppet show
On this day we will first visit Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh complex followed by the Temple of Literature. In the afternoon we will visit Museum of Ethnology and explore Hanoi old quarter by cyclo (paddle rickshaw). In the evening we will enjoy the water puppet show

Day 3 Hanoi – Halong Bay Day Trip (B, L)
Accommodations: Intercontinental West Lake Hotel
Transfer: Hanoi – Halong Bay - Hanoi (175 km)
Sites visited: Halong Bay, Caves
Special Meals: Sea Food on Junk Boat
In the morning, we depart for Ha Long Bay where we will take a private junk for a 4 hour boat journey around the majestic, secluded bay, now designated a World Heritage site. We will pass Dog islet, Cock fighting islet, Turtle islet and many more, stopping en route to visit the Dau Go and Thien Cung caves. A delicious, fresh seafood lunch is served on board. Upon disembarking, we will return to our Hanoi hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 Hanoi – Hue (B)
Transfer via: Vietnam airlines
Accomodation: La Residence de Hue Hotel
Site visited: Imperial city, Forbidden Purple City, Dong Ba market
After breakfast, we will be transferred to the airport to take flight to Hue. Upon arrival in the airport, we will be welcomed by our tour guide and transferred to have lunch will be serve in a typical Vietnamese cuisine in Hue and then transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit Imperial city and Forbidden Purple City

Day 5 Hue - Hoi An (B, L)
Accommodations: Palm Garden Resort
Sites visited: Perfume river, Thien Mu Pagoda, Khai Dinh tomb, Hai Van Pass, Cham Museum, Marble Mountain, Chine Beach
We will take a dragon boat to cruise along the Perfume River. Visit Thien Mu pagoda, after that, we will take our van to visit to the majestic and scenic Emperor Tu Duc tomb. In the afternoon we depart Hue for Hoi An travel through the high pass of Hai Van with its spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean en route to Da Nang. We will visit: Cham Museum, Marble Mountain, “Chine Beach” and then going to Cu Dai Beach for our resort.

Day 6 Hoi An (B)
Accommodations: Palm Garden Resort
Sites visited: Hoi An town
In the Morning we will do the walking tour in Hoi An town, This quaint riverside town still boasts a wealth of century’s old traditional architecture. The influences of several Asian cultures can be seen in the old houses and waterside buildings. It is also famous as a place to be instantly created inexpensive tailored outfits.

Day 7 Hoi An – Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh (B)
Transfer via: Vietnam airlines
Accommodations: Caravel Hotel Saigon

Sites visited: Cu Chi Tunnel
Today we will transfer to Da Nang to take the flight to Ho Chi Minh City in the early afternoon, after short flight, we will be transferred directly to visit the tunnel of Cu Chi.

Day 8 (Saigon) Ho Chi Minh City tour - Cu Chi Tunnel (B, L)
Accommodations: Caravel Hotel Saigon
Best departure time from Saigon: at 07:00AM to get the full view of Cai Be floating market Leaving busy Ho Chi Minh City we drive to Cai Be, boat through the busy floating market for seeing how people of lower Mekong Delta do business on the water. We then cruise through the lush green vegetation of the canals to an orchard, where we are treated to a delicious lunch complete with tropical fruits. After lunch we keep on cruising along river to see peaceful tranquil life of villagers, admire marvelous natural setting of Mekong Delta region. About 03:00PM, the boat will arrival at Vinh Long Market, walking around to explore Vinh Long Market. On the way back to Ho Chi Minh City with stop at Bonsai Garden. Arrival at your hotel in the late evening

Day 9 Departure Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) (B)
Transfer via: International flight at our own arrangement
Sites visited: Former Presidential Palace, North Dame Cathedral, General Post office, War Museum, Ben Thanh Market,
After breakfast we depart our hotel for the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. After that, we will visit War Remnant Museum, where we can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting about the second Indochina war. Before our lunch, we stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post.
In the afternoon, we transfer back to the airport for our flight to home. Trip concludes.

Lunch - Lunches are normally arranged at the Vietnamese restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. Most are Vietnamese dishes, and some are modified to fit westerners' tastes. At some of the meals one complimentary soft drink is served.

Dinner - Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Vietnamese food, Viet Vision Travel suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good western restaurants in the area.
