“Vietnam Mountains to Bay” is deigned for any first time visitors to Vietnam who would like to explore the different hill tribes on the Sa Pa Mountains and natural world heritage Halong bay as well as the capital city of Hanoi.

Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi
Day 2 Hanoi – City tour – Overnight Train to Lao Cai

Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi (D)
Transfer via: International Flight on your own arrangement
Accommodation: Flower Garden hotel Hanoi
Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be met and transferred to our hotel and then be free to enjoy the rest of the day. Tonight we will have dinner at a fine restaurant in Hanoi.
Day 2 Hanoi – City tour – Lao Cai (B)
Accommodation: 4 berth cabin – soft sleeper train with air condition
Sites visited: Ho Chi Minh Complex, Temple of Literature
Our trip will start at around 08:00AM. We will visit the Ho Chi Minh complex and the Temple of Literature, then We will stop for lunch at a fine cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon we will be free to enjoy our leisure. In the evening we will leave Hanoi for Lao Cai by soft sleeper train.
Day 3 Lao Cai – Sapa (B)
Accommodation: Bamboo Sa Pa Hotel
Sites visited: Chinese border, Cat Cat minority village
Upon arrival in Lao Cai City at around 06:30, guide and driver who will take us to Sa Pa Town. On the way we will stop to visit Vietnam and Chinese border. Arrive in Sapa, after checking in at the hotel (if the room is available) we will have breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant. And be free to enjoy the rest of the morning. Our trip will start for exploring Sa Pa in the afternoon by visiting Cat Cat valley, and the Black H’mong people in the their village. Visiting Cat Cat village, we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with families and get to know the different localities. After that we will head back to the town and join the local market and chat with some of the many friendly people there. We will stay overnight in Sa Pa town.
Day 4 Sapa – Night train to Hanoi (B)
Accommodation: 4 berth cabin – soft sleeper train with air condition
Sites visited: Lao Chai, Tavan Hill tribe village and Ta Phin Village
After breakfast, our visit today will be to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages where there are homes of Black H’mong and Dzay people. We will come back to Sapa town for lunch in a local restaurant and then relax at the hotel. Later we will meet our guide and take the car again to transfer back to Lao Cai city in order to take the night train to Hanoi. On the way we will visit Ta Phin Village, which is situated in a large valley and surrounded by rice fields. Ta Phin is home of the Dzao people. We may visit one of their houses and learn a bit about their way of life. Tonight we will once again take the comfortable soft sleeper train back to Hanoi.
Day 5 Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Accommodation: Bai Tho Halong Cruise – Twin share cabin – share Cruise
Sited visited: Halong bay, Caves
Upon an early arrival back in Hanoi We will transfer to the hotel in order to relax and have breakfast. We depart Hanoi to Ha Long Bay, which is now one of seven World Heritage-listed sites in Vietnam. Upon arriving in Ha Long City, We transfer to our boat for an amazing cruise of Ha Long Bay, and if the weather permits, we will have the opportunity for a swim in the crystalline emerald waters. The trip would not be completed without a sumptuous seafood lunch on board. Dinner will be served and we will spend overnight on board
Day 6 Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
Accommodation: Flower Garden Hotel Hanoi
Sites visited: Hallow caves, Halong bay
Rising early we can hear the sound of the ocean coming to life for another lovely day. We will have our breakfast over sunrise before more exploration of Ha Long bay by junk and then by rowing boat to the lagoons. We will visit Luon cave, and the floating villages. We then sail to explore the Bay and have a fresh seafood lunch on board before approaching Ha Long wharf. We will return to Hanoi at around 03:00PM. There is an overnight at a hotel in Hanoi.
Day 7 Departure (B)
Transfer via: International flight at your own arrangement
Today we are free and at our leisure until the time to transfer to the airport for you flight home.

Newly opened in Nov 2008, Flower Garden Hotel is located in the center of downtown Hanoi. The hotel is closed many famous historical and cultural landmarks of Hanoi City including the Ho Chi Minh Complex, Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi’s Old Quarter, West Lake.... transportation from Flower Garden Hotel is very convenient.
The Bamboo Sa Pa Hotel, Sa Pa is centrally located in Sapa Town. The interesting local market is a short walk away. The Bamboo Sapa Hotel overlooks the Muong Hoa Valley and has impressive views of the Fansipan Mountain range. Enjoy dining at the hotel’s restaurant which offers Western and Vietnamese cuisine. Rooms are to a good international standard, and are comfortable and spacious.
Bai Tho Junk is a traditional junk, small enough to be intimate but large enough to be comfortable, is the perfect way to explore the bay. The Bai Tho boat has 4 cabins, 5 cabins, 6 cabin, 7 and 8 cabins, 10 junk cabin and especially 18 cabins.If you have any specific food requirements (vegetarian, vegan, food allergies) please inform us in advance so that we can provide notice to our restaurant, tour guide or our partners so that they san server you better. Lunch - Lunches are normally arranged at the Vietnamese restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. Most are Vietnamese dishes, and some are modified to fit westerners' tastes.
Dinner - Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Vietnamese food, Viet Vision Travel suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good western restaurants in the area.
