Vietnam challenge trip is special designed with combinations of mountain climbing, kayaking and cycling. The trip gives us chances to positive our physical fitness while appreciate the best parts of Vietnam and her people. We explore hidden charm of the country trekking in Sapa, 3 days 2 nights exploring Halong Bay with sea kayaking and rock climbing. We cycle from the North of Vietnam along the coastal line up to the central highland and down South to Ho Chi Minh City. This is great combinations of multi activities trip.

Day 1 Arrival Hanoi ( D)
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our tour guide and transferred to our hotel in the center of town. In the evening before heading out to dinner, there will be a trip briefing with our tour guide to have idea what will be happening on the trip. Tonight we have tickets for the famous water-puppet show
Day 2 Hanoi City tour - train to Lao Cai (B)
This morning we will visit the Ho Chi Minh complex which consists of: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, his house on stilts, and the outside of the Presidential Palace, the One Pillar Pagoda and the impressive Temple of Literature. The remainder of the day is free to explore the Old Quarter. After a late check-out from our hotel and dinner, we will transfer to the train station for our overnight train journey to Sapa.
Day 3 Lao Cai - Sa Pa - Cat Cat Village - Sa Pa (B)
Up on arrive in Lao Cai Railway station at around 06:00, we will be met by a local guide and we transfer up to Sapa town where we will have our breakfast at a local restaurant. We may be tired after one night on the train but the fresh atmosphere and splendid view of the Northwest Mountain will make us relax completely and interest in our coming trip. Arrive at hotel after one hour driving, check in hotel and take a quick shower before going out for our visit the town. Firstly in the morning we climb up the Ham Rong mountain for the overview of Sapa town and villages where will visit after that. After lunch we will have time to walk through the local market to Cat Cat village, home of H’mong, ethnic minority people. Once we walk to the village nestled in the valley below Sapa we will meet the local minority people on the way and we will have chance to visit the home to share culture with families who live here. In the late afternoon we walk back to the town to join the local market. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 4 Sa Pa - Lao Chai - Ta Van Village - Sa Pa - Lao Cai (B, L)
Trekking today by embarking along the buffalo paths and trails through several hill tribe villages, Lao Chai and Ta Van – home of Black H’mong and Dzay people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. Once on the valley floor we can really appreciate the wonderful scenery that surrounds us. The walls of the valley are covered with multi-layered rice terraced fields and scattered villages. After that we return to Sapa by our waiting vehicle and transfer to Lao Cai railway station. Overnight on the train to Hanoi.

Day 5 Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Upon arrival we will be welcome and transfer to our day-used- hotel for shower to freshen up and having breakfast. At 8 to 8:30 we will be picked up and transfer to Halong Bay. We will arrive in Halong after about 3,5 hours including a short break about haft way at a humanity center. We will embark on Oriental Sails followed by cruise briefing. After our seafood lunch the Oriental Sails cruise further along the limestone islands of Fighting Cock, Dog Rock and Incense Burner, to name a few. We will visit one of the most impressive caves in Halong Bay, the Amazing Cave. We will have chance to see thousand of stalactite and stalagmites with many different shapes and colors. We then back to the boat and take our kayak to the hidden parts of this seclude bay We then going to anchor place we can go for swimming, taking photos or just simply relax as the sun starts to set
At 19:00 our dinner will be served. Socialize with other guests or just laze around. Overnight on board.
Day 6 Ha Long Bay - Lan Ha Bay (B, L, D)
Between 7 to 8 o’clock we will have breakfast on boat. We then transfer to to day boat for a cruise in Halong and later to Lan Ha Bay
We will have 2 options today:
Option 1 Rock-climbing with Western instructors
• From 10h15 to 12h30 we will do rock climbing on Moody’s Beach (option kayaking)
• From 13h00 to 14h00 we will have lunch then transfer to Thap Ngiem (Hai Pai Beach)
• From 14h15 to 16h30 we will do rock Climb on Hai Pai Beach (option kayaking)
Option 2 Relaxing & kayaking
We will have the whole day relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Van Boi beach, Ba Cat beach, and leisure kayak around the Lan Ha Bay.
From 16h30 – 17h00 we will cruise back to the main cruise. At 19 00 our diner will be severed. Overnight on board
Day 7 Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (B)
Today we get up early and start our day with swimming, exercise or photo hunt. We then have breakfast at sunrise. We then cruise through Drum Cave Island, Man’s Head Islet, Van Gia Fishing Village and then head back to the Harbor. We will disembark Oriental Sails at around 11h00. We will say good bye with our crews and transfer back to Hanoi.. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8 Hanoi Fly to Hue (B, L)
We will flight to Hue in the early morning and transfer to our hotel. After breakfast we will meet our additional crew who will be driving the support vehicles. We are also introduced to our bicycle. We will receive a briefing on how to ride the bikes and how to handle the traffic in Vietnam. We will then set out for our first ride in to visit the old Imperial Citadel, the Forbidden Purple City, and the Imperial Museum before lunch. In the afternoon we cycle to the eccentric Tu Duc tomb. Time permitting we will then cycle to Thien Mu Pagoda. Overnight in Hue



Day 9 Ride to Hoi An (B, L)
We will drive out of the city then cycle on the highway through some little passes to Lang Co beach where we will have lunch. Afterwards we will drive to the top of the Hai Van pass, admiring the wonderful views as we go and as we free ride to Da Nang, then by bus to the charming old city of Hoi An. In the evening we will take a short walking tour through the old streets of Hoi An.
Day 10 Hoi An (B)
We will have a short walking tour round Hoi An to visit some of the beauty spots such as 200 year old Tan ky old house, Phuoc Kien assembly hall, Japanese bridge…The high quality silk found in Hoi An can be made into clothes by local tailors within a couple of hours. You may even join a local cooking class to learn some of the sumptuous Vietnamese dishes. Plenty of distractions to keep you busy for a full day in Hoi An
Day 11 Hoi An - Quang Ngai (cycle 65km) (B, L)
Leaving the charming town behind, we will take a short boat trip to cross the Thu Bon River to Duy Hai village where we start the cycling through many fishing villages on the way along the coast to Ha Lam town that we keep take our bus to Tam Ky town for lunch. After lunch we drive to our hotel in Quang Ngai town and cycle to My Lai massacre which is now a museum of The War Remnants in Quang Ngai province. Tonight we spent the night in the hotel.
Day 12 Quang Ngai - Kon Tum (70 km) (B, L)
We start our day with cycling inland along the highway 24 up to Ba To town, Dak Rve and Kon Tum, this road with some challenge for us and there not much traffic on the way.
Day 13 Kon Tum cycle to Pleiku (B, L)
This morning we take our bus out of Kon Tum before we start to cycle. We spend a pleasant day on gentle rolling hills passing numerous small villages and rubber plantations. Pleiku is situated 600km from Saigon and 200km from Buon Me Thuot. Overnight at Pleiku hotel
Day 14 Pleiku to Buon Me Thuot - Approx cycling distance 49km (B, L)
Today's part- cycle is on an excellent road, Highway 14, taking in 197kms of undulating and scenic uplands. We pass by coffee plantations and national parks on our way to the largest town in the Western Highlands, and the capital of Dak Lak Province.



Day 15 Buon Me Thuot cycle to Dalat (B, L)
We leave Buon Me Thuat early in the morning by bus out of the biggest coffee city in Vietnam. Our way today is fantastic road with little traffic. The road is narrow but quite good, the view, with its vast coffee and rubber plantations will make you lose yourself in nature.
Day 16 Cycle around Da Lat (B)
Today there is a cycle tour round Da Lat's historical villas and a visit to an ethnic minority village, a crazy house and King Bao Dai's palace. The rest of the day is at leisure so we can go to Da Lat market where you can try very different coffee at one of the coffee shops overlooking Xuan Huong Lake.
Day 17 Da Lat - cycle to Mui Ne - Approx cycling distance 85km (B, L)
Today we begin on the bus for a short distance before commencing our cycle ride down the coastal route. This offers wonderful ocean views with a climb on quiet roads through rolling hills and remote Cham villages. After lunch we will continue cycling to Mui Ne. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 18 Mui Ne - Ho Chi Minh City (B)
The morning is at leisure. This afternoon we will drive by bus to Ho Chi Minh City (about 4hrs). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 19 In Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) - Cu Chi tunnels (B)
Early this morning we will travel to the Cu Chi tunnels (by bus or van), about a 2hrs drive. These tunnels are part of a network stretching a length of 250km. They enabled resistance fighters to move around unobserved. Visitors can go down into a section of the tunnels which have been maintained. In the afternoon there is free time for last minute shopping in Saigon before leaving Vietnam. Overnight at the hotel.



Day 20 Depart Ho Chi Minh (B)
We are free time until our guide and driver take you to the airport for our fly home.

Breakfast - Each breakfast will be served in your hotel or guest house. Breakfast selections include both Vietnamese and Western dishes.
Lunch - Lunches are normally arranged at the Vietnamese restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. Most are Vietnamese dishes, and some restaurants are cook only for local and there isn’t menu in English. In that case our guide will help you to order food.
Dinner - Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Vietnamese food, Viet Vision Travel suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good restaurants in the area or can help you in some practical situations.
