Ben Tre province is beauty peaceful province in Mekong delta region, it is also one of typical name is reminding a lot poem and Vietnam literality, especially during war resistance. Province geography is wedged between the two major branches of the Tien Giang River, which is itself one of the two main branches of the Mekong. The northern boundary is formed by the Tien Giang's main cland, in the other hand southern boundary is created by the Tien Giang river’s largest branch (which breaks away from the Tien Giang just upriver from Ben Tre province). Between the Tien Giang and its main branch are two smaller branches, passing through the middle of Ben Tre.

The entire province is created by interlacing rive network and canals. The extensive irrigation that makes Ben Tre a major producer of rice, but also means that the area is prone to flooding. Can Tho University research about climate changing, in studying show the possible consequences of climate change, has predicted that 51% of Ben Tre province can be flooded if sea levels rise up by 1 meter. Bến Tre province is, on average, only 1.25 metres above sea level.

Tuyen Linh pagoda

Features: The pagoda was known as the historical- cultural site on 20/7/1994. Every year on 19/5, the villagers often celebrate festival with many cultural exchange activities and meeting to commemorate the Uncle Ho’s birthday.
Yen Linh pagoda was built in Tan Dau (chicken year (1861) under 14 th Tu Duc king time of Nguyen dynasty. At first, the pagoda named Tien Linh was taken by Sir Khanh Phong and was made of bamboo, leaves in order to take reverent care of Lady Sam.
In 1907, the Le Khanh Hoa, legal name is Thich Nhu Tri, in Phu Le Commune; Ba Tri district, wh has become the guardian of this temple. He is a very respectful Buddhist master; a venerable scholar Le Khanh Hoa has preached the Buddhist doctrine, training students. With a lot of knowledge, he makes more than 90% of local people following Buddhism which made by the venerable Le Khanh Hoa the founder of the Southern Buddhist and Luong Xuyen Buddhist associations.

Tuyen Linh Pagoda was the place where Nguyen Sinh Sac, Uncle Ho's father had several dozen remained excluded. The longest time he has been here from 1927 to 1929. During his stay at the temple, he set up teaching classes, medicine room to cure for people. This is also the place where Mr Nguyen Sinh Sac had met Tran Van An, Huynh Khac Man, Le Van Phat, and the number of people they later become first class members of the Party Committee of Ben Tre. In 1929, he was being sick and people find the way taking him to Dong Thap. Tuyen Linh pagoda is also the place where a lot of Vietnamese soldiers have been hidden. It was twice destroyed by boom of enemy. The pagoda has been restored several times and the latest renovation in 1999. However, many historical objects have been lost. Mr Viet Hung, the chairman of Minh Duc commune said: “We are planning to build the museum in this pagoda. Firstly, we will collect the ancient objects, restore the pagoda and after that we will reconstruct the communication system for visitors easily traveling to this place.”

Characteristics: The old house with the features of the plains and the ancient splendor of a wealthy landlord.
Whoever has ever visited Đại Dien, Thanh Phu, Ben Tre would be surprised by the beautiful and large old house of Huỳnh clan. Though hundreds of years passed, the house still conveys the character of the plains and the ancient splendor of a wealthy landlord.
The floor is one meter high, scattered around the luxurious marble. The house is in airy space, two sides in a rectangular with perimeter about 100 meters, including all 48 columns precious wood such as ironwood,. Many text columns are carved ancient unique characters. In the worship room, a pair of vermillion lacquered and gilded wood panels. Although hundreds of years have been over, the conch shell remains iridescent colors of the second-grade material. The roofs with the tile printed with folk activities such as chicken, crab, rice bundles, and shepherds riding buffalo ...that is very lively. The house is a unique architecture art but now it is suffered from the devastation, erosion of time. Previously, the Dai Dien House has been built having the front hall, back hall, but now the house just left the worship room. The house is a bridge between the front hall and post hall that was built imitation of Roman architecture.
