Hi Laura, feedback tours

Yes – we arrived home safely last Thursday. Tomorrow I have to go back to work – I am very sad
about this and would rather be on holidays!

Firstly, I have to say that your service and support was absolutely outstanding. Our entire trip was well-organised and everything went exactly to plan. We also appreciated that you called twice during our trip to see how we were going.

We heard from other travellers about lots of problems they had with their holiday, even holidays organised by other tour companies. We had no problems at all – you made our holiday so wonderful and easy from start to finish. My mum and sister loved it.

One other thing that was very good was the flexibility to make some small changes to our itinerary when we wanted to. For example, in Saigon, my sister really wanted to buy fabric because she has a fabric shop in Australia. So instead of going to the War museum, we shopped for fabric in Chinatown and had a great time. Our guide was excellent at interpreting and checking the total amount of the bill. It was good fun.
Being able to make these little changes just made the holiday even better.

Please use any of my comments on your website and in your marketing material – we are genuinely delighted with our whole holiday and will strongly recommend you to other Australians seeking to travel through Vietnam and Cambodia.

Specific comments are below:

Our guides were very very good – we were really happy with all of them. Our favourite was Tea (I am not sure if I have spelt that correctly) – our guide from central Vietnam (Hue to Hoi An).
He was very funny and really knowledgeable about history and other information – This is a very good combination of characteristics for a tour guide!

The accommodation was really excellent everywhere. The standard was very good at each place and the third bed in the room worked really well for the whole trip. The location was excellent almost all of the time. The only exception was in Phnom Penh – The Best Western River Palace is a lovely hotel but is a long way from anywhere! It really didn’t matter much though – we just walked or used tuk-tuks so it really was not a serious problem!

The food was fantastic everywhere we went. Our only comment here is that the ‘set menu’ lunches were too big and made us very fat! We would have been very happy with less food! I know that you can’t control the menus at those restaurants, so don’t worry about changing this. Other travellers will probably be quite ok with the big set menus.
The Banana Flower restaurant (can’t remember where that was.. Somewhere in central Vietnam …) was outstanding.

Finally, thank you so very much for your personalised service and care before and during our wonderful holiday, Laura. You are a credit to Viet Vision Travel.

We wish Viet Vision Travel all the very best in the future.

Kind regards,
Lynne
